LAURA HODGE

Laura studied music at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (formally the RSAMD) where she trained to be a music teacher. After graduating Laura initially worked in secondary schools before moving on to primary music education where she spent the majority of her teaching career. Laura's favourite part of the job was seeing the children's confidence grow through the magic of music. Laura has worked with award winning choirs, and even had children perform on BBC's 'Children in Need'. Performing has always been a passion of Laura's and to now be able to help children perform her own work is the icing on the cake! The only downside is having to listen to Kev's bad jokes!

KEVIN GUTHRIE

After school Kevin went on to study one of his passions, history, at Glasgow University. Throughout uni Kev paid his way by tutoring drum pupils, which he has done ever since. In fact he now also tutors in guitar as well as drumming. He has many ex-pupils who are now studying or playing music professionally. Kev also worked in secondary schools as a drum and percussion teacher. He has played professionally in function bands, ceilidh groups and jazz ensembles over the years. Kev always had a love for music, english and history, and is able to use his talents in all three areas when creating brand new Beat Box Productions! He just needs to convince Laura to let him use his drummers joke book in the shows now!
